This is about experience design
While traditionally our focus is on creating one of a kind guest experiences for our commercial clients, we recognize there is a heightened need for thoughtful experience design in the home environment.
2020 has completely changed how we look at our homes. Coronavirus temporarily forced our home to become our office, our children's classroom, our gym, and more. As we return to a 'new normal,' what is clear is, for some time to come, we will be traveling less, working from home more and missing out on many of the spaces and experiences that left us feeling both relaxed and energized.
More than ever before, our home will need to be a space where we can be productive, relaxed and entertained. For some of us our homes will need to serve as a summer camp, a destination, or both. And for many of us, our homes will need to help us transition from work-mode to work-out mode to weekend-mode.
We are used to stepping outside our homes for so many of our needs, but our homes can provide so much more—from productivity and energy, to relaxation and entertainment—if we put proper thought and investment into how these spaces are designed. It often doesn't require extra space. But it does require vision and creativity.
